On your first visit you will be ask to visit our office about 15 minutes before you are seen by one of the Doctors of Chiropractic.
You will be welcomed to our office by the warm smiles of our Chiropractic Assistants Pat, Judy or Gail and asked to fill our forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition.
Dr. Richard Cronk, Dr. Sandra Jensen, or Dr. Josh West will then go over a clinical history with you to determine if chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. If the doctor can help you, the doctor will let you know and thoroughly explain how we can help. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
After a thorough consultation with one of the Doctors, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. The examination will include testing your range of motion, testing your reflexes, and your muscle strength, your ability to bend and move as well as other standard orthopedic , postural, neurologic and physical examinations that are necessary. You will not have to undress for the examination.
Dr. Cronk, Dr. Jensen and Dr. West are fully qualified to take and read x-rays. Your history and examination will determine the need for x-rays and we will consider them on a case by case basis. Discovery Chiropractic now has in-office state of the art digital x-ray.
Once all the information and examinations have been performed the doctor will sit down with you to give you a report of findings and share with you the recommendations for treatment. You will be told the frequency of visits and the time frame to achieve the desired results.
Usually you will receive your first treatment on the first visit. Dr. Cronk, Dr. Jensen or Dr. West will use gentle yet effective adjustments appropriate for the individual.
Each person has different problem and unique anatomical make up which require individual considerations. At Discovery Chiropractic we believe in evidence based health care which means we will use the most up-to-date information to treat your condition.
